The factory Evo bypass valve works fine, but is made of fragile plastic (we can't even count the number of customers who tell us they broke the vacuum nipple off it), and may leak at higher boost levels.
The TurboXS Racing Bypass Valve is fabricated from billet aluminum, with a solid brass piston, so it'll never break. It's adjustable to handle boost from as low as 10psi all the way up to 35psi. It features a return pipe outlet so you can plumb it back to your intake system, just like your factory CBV. But if you want to run it open to atmosphere, just add more shims and you're set. The valve is fully rebuildable. It bolts right on to the Evo, no adapter kit required.
