  Melted Spark Plug
Intense heat in the cylinder can actually melt the electrodes of the plug. This can happen if the plug heat range is too hot, or if the plug is not tightened enough so that heat cannot be conducted out of the cylinder. Extreme detonation can also cause plug meltdown.
