|  |  Ingalls Stiffy Engine Damper
The Ingalls "Stiffy" engine damper reduces unwanted engine motion so you can get more power to the ground. It's got spherical bearings at both ends, and a stiff polyurethane damper in the middle. Stiffy is designed to reduce engine/tranny deflection under hard acceleration and cornering loads, reducing weight transfer and drivetrain lash, improving horsepower to the wheels (power not used in pushing the motor around can be used to push the wheels!), and improving control.
Sure, a stiff connection to your motor will transmit more vibration and noise into the car. But if you've got a big power Evo, you'll appreciate the control this adds. (Ever watch how much your engine moves around the engine bay when the car is on the dyno?)
Comes complete with Stiffy engine damper, mounting brackets and hardware, and complete installation instructions. Fits all 2003-2007 Lancer Evolution.
