HKS Electronic Valve Controller
The EVC may be the ultimate in high-tech boost control. It uses a computer-regulated solenoid to accurately adjust turbo boost from the comfort of the passenger compartment. Select the maximum boost you want with the push of a button. Electronic control of the wastegate means faster turbo spool-up, too, since the wastegate stays completely closed until maximum boost is reached.
The slim half-DIN control unit is reverse-illuminated for easy day or night visibility, and the compact dimensions make for easy installation in the car. The EVC has two boost presets, a manual override, and a "scramble" (short-term high boost) button, and seves as an electronic peak/hold boost gauge. It even displays boost in PSI! (This is not the metric version that some shops sell.)
The EVC can control up to 36 psi of turbo boost. Its stepper motor solenoid unit features an embedded CPU for unmatched reponse and accuracy.
