|  |  Air/Fuel Gauges
Air/Fuel ratio gauges allow you to see the ratio of air to fuel present in the cylinders. The O2 sensor sends a signal to the computer for fuel calculations and by tapping into that line you can do a basic tuning of your car for maximum power. On 1G cars it is as simple as plugging into an existing tap in the passenger kick panel. For 2G cars you need to tap into one wire on the ECU wiring harness.

Cars do vary, so use your own judgement, but a general rule of thumb is that around .88 volts is about the leanest you want the motor to be at full throttle. Keep in mind that the oxygen sensor will change readings with heat and age, and that the sensor can become fouled from using leaded gas, or even running too rich a mixture for an extended period. The air/fuel gauge is only an indicator! Use an exhaust gas temperature gauge for additional fine tuning.

|  Autometer A/F Ratio GaugeThese 20 segment A/F mixture gauges from Autometer are the highest quality ones available. They are standard 52mm in size, and come in black, white, silver, and carbon fiber face to match you interior. These gauges are calibrated in 0.05V increments so you get a little finer resolution over the Intellitronix gauges. The LEDs are arranged around the perimeter of the gauge for a full 270-degree sweep.

| | |  NEW! Custom-Modified Autometer A/F GaugeThese are the same gauge as above, but with the circuitry modified so the gauges read from ~0.76V to ~0.96v where power tuning is done. Each gauge comes with its own calibration sheet so you know what each LED reads exactly. The recalibration also eliminates that annoying flickering at cruise. Basically, the gauge is dark until full throttle, then it shows the full-throttle air/fuel setting. People rave about this gauge! You've got to see it.
