The incredible AEM Engine Management System (EMS) is a fully programmable ECU that plugs DIRECTLY into your ECU wiring harness.
Installation could not be easier: Unplug your stock ECU, plug in your EMS, and you're ready to start tuning. You have complete control over fuel tuning, spark timing, and much more.
The ECU includes base maps so you don't have to start from scratch. EMS can control nitrous oxide, boost controllers, and use a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor to eliminate the factory MAS. The capablities are incredible; there are far more features than we can list here.
You'll need a Windows laptop to program the EMS. And, as you might guess, having complete control over all those engine parameters means you can destroy your engine if you are careless.
The package comes with the EMS itself, plus software and detailed operating manual on CD. The AEM EMS discussion forums online are an addtional resource you can use in learning how to use and tune the EMS.
